Pilates exercise programs require the body to produce force in a variety of movement patterns and positions combined with proper breathing techniques. The results are astonishing. Strong flat stomachs and powerful, flexible backs. Invented by Joseph H. Pilates while a prisoner of war in WW I, he believed that "we are only as old as our spines." His techniques have evolved into todays extensive routines performed on mats initially, and then progressing to the next level, the Stotts Pro Reformer machine.
All of our instructors are Stott Pilates certified.
